Code of Conduct and Qualifications

I pride myself on being professional, but friendly and competent. I follow standard codes of conduct and care, to ensure I provide a high-quality service that meets a person’s unique and individual needs.

I have certification for Health & Social Care, which means that I have a thorough understanding of the importance of matters relating to person-centred approaches, wellbeing, safeguarding, duty of care, health and safety, equality, diversity and inclusion, as well as a range of other values which are very important in this line of work. I make a concerted effort to uphold these ethics and values when I am working with individuals. I also have first aid and suicide awareness training, am fully insured and DBS certified.

  • Promote and uphold the privacy, dignity, rights, health and wellbeing of people who use health and care services and their carers at all times.
  • Work in collaboration with your colleagues to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare, care and support.
  • Communicate in an open, and effective way to promote the health, safety and wellbeing of people who use health and care services and their carers.
  • Respect a person’s right to confidentiality.
  • Strive to improve the quality of healthcare, care and support through continuing professional development.
  • Uphold and promote equality, diversity and inclusion.

Although I do not provide a service that includes personal care, I continue to work to uphold these values of good practice when I am assisting individuals in the community.
